Sooo...

God is amazing. I wish I had time to write out a whole story book but I cannot. I will try as soon as possible! Just know, God is amazing! :)

As The World Turns...

Yes, I just used the title of a Soap Opera to name this blog...why may you ask? Because people seem to think that life can only be lived by creating drama. Heck to that I say. You are missing out on the importance of life and what God is trying to teach you. I've been there, I've done that, and that is sooo behind my years. For the past few weeks almost everyday has been a struggle, whether it's school related, friendships on thin ice, or God trying to slap me across the face and tell me to wake up Amanda! He is testing me that is for dang sure. But through it all, I sat today doing my quiet time and I remembered what Ben Stuart spoke about at Breakaway a few weeks ago:

James 1:1-12.

Read it, it speaks the truth. Though God may be testing us or Satan is whispering in your ear that you are never going to be good enough, reflect on this verse and know: rejoice in difficulties; face trials of many kinds because enduring something painful now will lead to an awesome future! "Within pain there is potential." ~Ben Stuart (James 1:3) You can go through pain and not feel a thing, but let it take it's course and it will change you and mature you. You learn from your devastations and mistakes. Take those and use them. Grow. Learn. And then live. As Ben said, "There is life beyond pain. So why do we rage against pain when it is the one thing we all have in common?" God takes your pain and trials and turns them into good for the glory of God. So I reminded myself, as much as I hate drama/suffering that is constantly caused in this world, "God provides some drama to make us learn, make us trust Him, and make us grow." ~Ben Stuart
